International Construction Jobs and Economic Growth

The economy looks like it is returning to growth in 2014 which means more construction jobs, more companies hiring, and construction careers created overseas.

This is great news for young engineers construction managers and project managers who are looking to get their first foot in the construction market. This should provide better wages and opportunities for many different professionals, in particular international construction jobs and jobs overseas should see massive growth in Asia and the Middle East. The United States has also seen large amounts of house building and home prices are currently increasing year-on-year. However areas such as Detroit haven't seen such a massive growth there is potential and opportunity to buy houses at a discounted rate in these areas. Also land is currently relatively cheap in the United States so if you're looking to build your own home is a good opportunity to start construction of your dream property.

Also the growth areas include New Zealand after the earthquake in Christchurch and Australia is always interesting market for construction with property prices extortionate. The property prices in Australia are often fuelled by the large amounts of immigration which often leads to more house building and upward pressure on has prices. Also you the amount of land in Australian means that you can build get a plot and start your own home relatively easily.

In places like Canada construction market although booming in Toronto is slowing down. Many economists have argued that there is a house price bubble in Canada at the moment with house prices almost 6 times mean incomes. There are also thousands of condominiums available in Toronto at the moment due to the massive expansion of real estate developers buying up land along the waterfront and building huge apartments. However any drop in higher property prices will be temporary because of the massive influx of immigration into Canada means that there's always going to be a demand for homes.
